SEPTIMUS turns a camera, keyboard, or pointer into a practical chord instrument. The circular layout keeps harmony visible while you play.
Play naturally
Point with the right index finger or choose palm control. Use the left hand for octave lanes and expression, with keyboard and mouse controls available too.
Build the sound
Layer inner and outer chords with higher and lower octaves, synth voices, reverb, distortion, automatic drums, and bass.
Follow a song
Search public chord and lyric sources, load progressions into the rings, and follow the combined chord-and-lyric prompter at an adjustable tempo.
Stay in motion
Travel corridors let the index finger cross the rings without retriggering blocks. Rhythm-style progress and countdown cues show what comes next.
Capture and edit
Record takes and loop layers, then edit notes, timing, pitch, octave, volume, and effects in the loop desk.
Export your work
Save browser-generated audio and notation through supported WAV, MP3, WebM, MIDI/KAR, MusicXML/MXL, and PDF export paths.

Load the real SEPTIMUS app
Keyboard and mouse play are available in the embedded preview. The deployed app currently limits camera access to its own top-level origin, so camera mode opens in the full studio.
Full browser studio
Runs in a current desktop browser with camera, keyboard, or mouse control. Chrome is the primary tested browser for the current live patch.
SEPTIMUS for iPhone
A locally bundled iPhone version is in development. It is not yet available on the App Store. Availability and device requirements will be announced after physical-device and distribution testing.
