Terms & player licence

These terms govern use of UNIGRID, its online account/save features and related game pages provided by Hanmin Yun in Ontario, Canada. They include the limited player licence. If you do not agree, do not use the game or online services. Nothing here limits rights that applicable law does not allow us to limit.

Who can play

The service is intended for players aged 13 and older. If you are below the age of majority where you live, use it with a parent or guardian's permission and supervision. Do not create an account if you are under 13. You must have the legal capacity or required authorization to use the service.

Your permission to use UNIGRID

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and play the game for lawful entertainment while complying with these terms. You may share your own gameplay screenshots and recordings, including ordinary monetized creator coverage, provided you respect third-party rights and do not imply an official endorsement. You do not acquire ownership of the game, its branding or its assets. Separate open-source licences remain applicable to their components.

Accounts, saves and security

You may play locally without creating an account. If you use an account, keep your password and recovery code secure and provide a player ID you are entitled to use. Do not put sensitive personal information into names or save files. Cloud saving needs an internet connection and may be unavailable. Keep exported backups of important stations. Browser clearing, software updates, conflicts or bugs can result in lost progress. Recovery may not be possible if you lose both your password and recovery code.

Your station saves

You retain any rights you hold in original material you submit, such as your station names. Saving a station to your account permits us and our service providers to store, process, back up and return that save only as needed to provide, secure and maintain the service, handle your requests and meet legal requirements. This does not transfer ownership of your material or give us permission to use private saves in advertising. The game code and assets included in a save remain subject to their existing rights. Do not submit private information about other people or material you do not have permission to use.

Fair and lawful use

Do not interfere with the service, overwhelm it with automated requests, access another person's account, distribute malware, bypass access controls, impersonate others or use the game to violate laws or intellectual-property rights. Do not redistribute the game's proprietary assets as a competing product. Restrictions do not override rights expressly granted by an open-source licence or mandatory law. Responsible private reports of security problems are welcome at the contact address below.

Prototype, changes and virtual resources

UNIGRID is an evolving game prototype. Features, balance, compatibility, availability and save formats can change. In-game credits, resources and survival percentages are fictional game values, have no cash value and are not financial assets. The game is currently free to access; there is no subscription or purchase created by playing. Any future paid offering would require separate price disclosure and agreement before charging you.

Disclaimers and limits

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the game is supplied as available and without promises of uninterrupted service, error-free operation, specific results or preservation of every save. We do not provide engineering, medical, financial or safety advice. To the extent the law permits, Hanmin Yun is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the game, including lost game progress or interrupted play. These limits do not apply where prohibited, including any liability or consumer protection that cannot lawfully be excluded. No fixed liability cap, mandatory arbitration requirement or class-action waiver is imposed by these terms.

Links may take you to services operated by other providers. Their own terms and privacy practices apply to their services. A link does not promise their availability, security or accuracy, and does not limit any responsibility we retain under applicable law.

Suspension and ending use

You can stop using the game at any time. We may restrict online access when reasonably necessary to address abuse, security risks or serious breaches, and will give notice where practical and legally required. To request account removal, contact us; the current interface does not offer self-service account deletion. Local saves remain on your device unless you remove them.

Privacy, changes and disputes

The Privacy policy explains data handling; it is not a waiver of privacy rights. Material changes to these terms will be dated and communicated through the service or website where appropriate, with consent sought when required. Ontario law and applicable Canadian federal law govern to the extent permitted; mandatory protections and court rights in your place of residence remain available. Please contact us first about a problem, without giving up any right to a regulator or court. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining lawful provisions continue to apply.
